Let us pray for the president of the United States Donald Trump. That your light, Lord Jesus Christ, may constantly shine on him. In that way, his motives and actions may become transparent to all people.
Therefore, those who for one reason or another may be inclined to follow him and defend blindly, may no longer follow him based on the new information they get from your revelation; and that those who for whatever reason may be inclined to reject him and attack him blindly, may begin to acknowledge his good will, if he is in fact benevolent.
That Donald Trump’s true relationship with Vladimir Putin may be revealed openly and clearly, so that all Americans can choose to support him or oppose him based on facts.
That if he chooses to serve satan by lying (John 8:44) to the American people, his own lies will circle around and ensnare him. That the more he lies the more he will trip, and the more he tells the truth, the more you will up lift him up Lord. We pray this in your Holy Name Jesus Christ. Amen!
Being a mission planter is not easy. Every mission planter feels called to go out into the world as the Apostles and many disciples over the life of the Church have done. However, most mission planters become disappointed when things do not turn out the way they planned. I know, I have been there and done that.
But you should not be disappointed if you are not growing as you expected. We might hear a lot about all the missionary exploits of those who came before us. Yet, there are many who might have not racked up big numbers who were influential in the life of other people as well.
So do not lose hope and leave the mission planting fields. Stick with it and plant missions one person at a time.

Do You Have A Rule Of Life? Maybe You Should
As followers of Christ we are supposed to be disciples. Being a disciple implies being disciplined. Most of us are not as disciplined as we will like to be.
One way of growing in discipline is the use of a Rule of Life. To find out about what exactly is a rule of life, and to find out how you can have one, listen to the podcast above.
Listen to “Have You Ever Prayed for Something & Not Receive It?” on Spreaker.
Sometimes it seems like we pray and pray forever and what we pray for never comes. It can be frustrating and painful. I certainly can frustrating and the enemy knows it. However, as believers we can not give up. We have to pray, pray and then some.
The podcast above talks about prayer and about how to stay encouraged during those difficult times when we pray and it feels as if out prayer is not being heard or answered. Please listen to it and share it with as many people as you can. May God continue to bless you.
I used to think that the only way to do ministry was by going door to doo, or town to town, sort of like the disciples did during the earlier part of the Church.
Of course, I would neglect to remember that Paul made great use of the written word to communicate his message, and that many ministries have been grown by way of T.V. and radio over the years.
So even though, to me and to many of my mentors, personal contact has been the preferred way to do ministry, situations have caused this notion of “in person only” ministry to become more flexible over the years, at least to me.
As you probably know, part of the new way of ministry today involves the use of interactive websites. Many communions and congregations have a website. As part of their online ministry, a prayer submission page is usually provided. Millions of people submit prayer request on these prayer request pages. Some have brought this into question, while others have embraced it.
The opponents of prayer request pages wonder, ‘do this prayer request pages even work?’ Personally, I think they do. The podcast above deals with this issue of submitting prayer request on the internet. Listen to it and see what you think.
At the town where I live by, there is a man who drives around with a sign being pulled by his car telling sinners to repent. Some times he stops around busy intersections around town and gets out of his car with another sign telling people to repent.
I guess we could do something similar to what this man is doing. We could go around the neighborhood telling every one that they are a sinner and that they need to repent. However, is that really what we are supposed to do?
The podcast above contains a short message that deals with this issue of sinfulness in the world and how we should perhaps deal with it. I hope you enjoy it, and while you at it share it with all your social network contacts. May God bless you and your loved ones.
A great portent appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2She was pregnant and was crying out in birthpangs, in the agony of giving birth. 3Then another portent appeared in heaven: a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child, so that he might devour her child as soon as it was born. 5And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. But her child was snatched away and taken to God and to his throne; 6and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, so that there she can be nourished for one thousand two hundred sixty days. The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
O children of Zion, be glad
and rejoice in the Lord your God;
for he has given the early rain for your vindication,
he has poured down for you abundant rain,
the early and the later rain, as before.
The threshing floors shall be full of grain,
the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
I will repay you for the years
that the swarming locust has eaten,
the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,
my great army, which I sent against you.
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
and praise the name of the Lord your God,
who has dealt wondrously with you.
And my people shall never again be put to shame.
You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel,
and that I, the Lord, am your God and there is no other.
And my people shall never again
be put to shame.
I will pour out my spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.
Even on the male and female slaves,
in those days, I will pour out my spirit.
I will show portents in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.
Hence it follows, that if America is great it is because of the mercy of God. Then, if it is by the mercy of God, did we do anything to deserve God’s blessing?
So this whole concept that we somehow were once great because we followed and served God, and that now we are not because we are no longer following God, is contrary to scripture in a very profound and disturbing way.
You see, it turns out that many of our conversations have revolved around black people, and about how black people have a litany of issues. He feels that black people and other minorities are under performers (for lack of a better word) and that many of the laws that we have in place that are to protect against discrimination are not needed. He feels that there is no discrimination in this country, and that essentially there is no need to complain.
Usually, I try to redirect him and gently try to help him walk on the others person’s shoes. Normally I ignore him and attribute his comments to ignorance and blindness of heart, and I get on with my day. However, today he would not redirect. He was more forceful than ever, and I was obviously less tolerant. I was in no mood to hear the “we do not need affirmative action” speech. I was in no mood to hear that blacks, Hispanics and Indians get into schools unjustly, and that they are not qualified to begin with.
So it came to a point when I was feed up. I was like, “the people you are bad talking is me!” I am one of those Hispanics that you wrongly feel are not integrated into society. I am one of those blacks (for in case he did not notice, I have black skin) that you feel are so messed up that every wrong in society is their fault. I had to say enough, but he would not let me. He pushed back and I pushed back even harder. I raised my voice and he told me to lower my voice that I was talking too loud. I then raised my voice louder and called him a racist to his face. I told him that racism is a sin, and it is. However, so is anger! I was wrong also, even more so than he.
How could I have let him get to me and set such a bad example for Christ.
Jesus, my Lord, I have let you down. I should have put you first, even before my own feelings. Please forgive me Lord, please forgive me. Brothers and sisters pray for me.
